Christmas can be a tricky time for lots of reasons, and it can be hard to know where to turn for help when many regular services are closed over the festive period.

We have put together a list of supports that are operational on a continual basis through the week of Christmas. We have also put together the reduced opening hours of some other services who will not be open as usual but will open at some points through the week.

If you are struggling in any way this Christmas, please take care of yourself. It’s ok to need some time away from the festivities, but if you are struggling, please reach out for help. Talk to safe friends or family members, you will not ‘ruin Christmas’ by having emotions; most people would rather you share than know you suffered alone. Please utilise the services below as much as you need to. If you are in crisis please present to your nearest A/E.

If you need support during the rest of your Christmas holiday from college, all other services will have their normal operating hours outside of Christmas Week. You can find information about them and how to contact them here.

It’s ok to feel not ok, over Christmas or any time. You are not alone. You deserve help. Help is available. Please reach out.
